We also brought awareness in poultry farming by bringing different breeds like Giriraj, Rhode Island Red, Black Australor&Vanraj for the first time in the Sindhudurg district. This awareness has also led the farmers of the Sindhudurg district to move from traditional to modern poultry farming systems. The Sindhudurg Zilla Krushi Pratishthan in collaboration with the college has already developed a well–managed poultry farming system, which gives students the option of studying poultry farming as an Agriculture allied business.
